1. How many forms does the flotation machine have? Which is commonly used?
According to the way of inflating and stirring the pulp, it can be divided into the following three types:
1) Mechanical agitating flotation machine: This type of flotation machine inflates and agitates the slurry by the rotation of the impeller or the return rotor.
2) Compressed air flotation machine: This type of flotation machine is supplied with compressed air by an external blower to complete the aeration and agitation of the slurry.
3): In addition to the rotation of the impeller or the return rotor, the flotation machine inflates and agitates the slurry, and also sends compressed air from the outside with a blower.
At present, the flotation machine commonly used in flotation plants is a mechanical agitation flotation machine. Such flotation machines are also classified into the following types according to different inflatable structures: impeller type, gyro type, and spiral type. The mechanical flotation (impeller type) flotation machine of the old flotation plant is accustomed to be called "Fallenwald type" and "Michanoble type". The former Soviet scholars names, which is referred to as the Soviet Union beneficiation Research and Design Institute.
At present, there are two new models of mine impeller flotation machines produced by Shenyang Mining Machinery Plant: XJ-28; XJ-58. The old model is XJI-28, referred to as 6A flotation machine; XJI-58, referred to as 7A flotation machine. These two old flotation machines are the more commonly used flotation equipment in existing flotation plants.
2. What is the working principle of mining impeller flotation machine?
The slurry is fed into the impeller by the feed pipe, and the centrifugal force generated by the swirling impeller is thrown into the groove, so that a negative pressure is formed under the cover plate, and the air is automatically taken in by the intake pipe. The inhaled air and the fed slurry are mixed together in the upper part of the impeller and thrown into the tank, thus generating a negative pressure and sucking in the air, thus continuously. In the drug-producing pulp, the floating mineral is carried by the bubble to the surface to form a mineralized foam layer, which is scraped off by the scraper to obtain a concentrate. The minerals and gangues that do not float up enter the intermediate chamber through the gates on the side walls of the trough and are fed into the next flotation tank. The adjustment of the slurry level in each or several tanks is completed by adjusting the gates. The slurry is actually circulating in the machine.
3. What should be paid attention to when the flotation machine is tested and used after maintenance?
After the flotation machine is overhauled, the flotation cell should be carefully inspected and cleaned before the test, and then the empty car test run, and gradually added to the clean water operation (note the size of the circulation hole) until the ore is delivered. At the same time, it should be noted that the impeller body is checked for bias and impact.
When starting the motor, check the direction of rotation of the motor shaft. It must be ensured that the impeller shaft rotates clockwise (top view).
In use, attention should be paid to the adjustment of the slurry level, that is, the degree of opening of the gate. Only by adjusting the height of the slurry surface in time can the foam be effectively scraped and the slurry can be prevented from overflowing into the foam tank.
4. Which parts should the flotation machine check frequently during the operation?
Always check during the operation of the flotation machine:
1) Overheating of rolling bearings in electric motors and impellers. Generally, the bearing temperature must not exceed 35 °C, and the maximum temperature must not exceed 65 °C.
2) Check the tension of the transmission belt, the degree of tightness should be appropriate. When serious wear is found, the belt with the same length and model should be replaced.
3) Check the tightness of the oil seal rubber ring. In particular, it should be noted that the grease in the bearing body should not leak into the slurry, so as not to affect the normal operation of the flotation.
4) Check if there is enough grease at each lubrication point. If it is found that there is less oil, it should be added in time.
5) Check for any other debris in the tank.
5. What should be paid attention to in repairing the flotation machine?
In the repair process should be done:
1) When replacing the worn impeller and stator, the gap between the impeller and the stator should be adjusted with a gasket to keep the gap within the range of 6-10 mm.
2) Before installing the impeller, check whether the hose used to protect the spindle is worn. If it is worn, replace it with a new one.
3) If the bearing has excessive axial clearance due to wear, just adjust the compression of the inner and outer races.
4) If the oil seal of the lower cover of the bearing body is found to leak oil, replace the new oil seal in time, and be careful not to press it too tightly.
