West Company titanium ore dressing plant production since 1965, sorting beach placer Western Australia, ores containing low Cr 2 O 3 (0.03% to 0.04%) containing TiO 2 54% ~ 60%. The plant uses a re-election, magnetic separation, and electric selection process to select 60 tons of ore per hour. The heavy mineral content of the concentrate is 93% to 95%, and the production is 25 to 35 tons per hour. Heavy mineral mineral composition: titanium 70 to 85% iron ore; 3-5% zircon; monoid stone traces to 4%; trace to 5% rutile; from 1% to 20% iron ore: garnet trace ~15%. In addition, it contains a small amount of tourmaline , cross stone, spinel, biotite and limonite. The plant obtained ilmenite concentrate through two wet selections and two dry selections, and comprehensively recovered rutile, pyrite, zircon, and monazite concentrate.
The raw ore is first screened through a cylinder screen with a sieve hole of 0.5 mm. The product is sieved and sieved by a vibrating screen. The 4 mm sieve is discarded. The -4 mm sieve is dewatered and graded by a double-eagle classification box. The coarse part of the box is sieved by a curved screen and an Alice Chalmers (AC) screening machine. The size of the sieved product is less than 0.6 mm, which is sent to the rough selection of the spiral concentrator and the coarse selection of the three sections. Selected, obtained coarse concentrate, a wet selection process is shown in Figure 1.
