( 4 ) Production practice of calcined kaolin

In 1982 , China Kaolin Company studied the successful roasting kaolin production technology. A 50t/a test production line has been built. Selected kaolin powder 800 °C The mixture was calcined at a temperature, then subjected to ultrafine grinding with a jet mill and surface-modified with silicone oil. Product technical indicators are shown in Table 9 . The use of calcined kaolin in cable plastics can significantly improve its electrical properties. See Table 10 for the effect.

2 , Zhanjiang Kaolin Soil Concentrator

(1) Raw ore properties

The ore is from the mountainous kaolin mining area of ​​Zhanjiang City. It is a weathered residual kaolin deposit. The kaolin industrial type is sandy. The ore size is less than 30mm , moisture 24 ~ 25% . The mineral composition of the ore is listed in Table 11 , and the chemical composition is shown in Table 12 . The main minerals are kaolinite, halloysite and hydromica , followed by feldspar , quartz and muscovite. The harmful impurities are iron- titanium minerals, iron minerals are mainly hematite, followed by limonite, siderite and titanium. titanium minerals are mainly white, followed by ilmenite and rutile. Ore less than 44 μ m in an average yield of 41.61%, which accounts for 48.08% kaolinite, mica, 33% water; less than 20 μ m yield of 32.74%, which accounts for 83.45% kaolinite, mica, accounting for 13.81% of water; less than 2 μ m in a yield of 10.03%, the stripping can be enhanced yield of less than 2 μ m. In addition, a small amount of ore fine particles smaller than 0.2 μ m.
