January sales exceeded 2 million vehicles

According to the latest data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in January this year, China's automobile production and sales volume both saw a significant year-on-year growth and year-on-year growth. According to the data, in January, China's automobile production was 1,964,500, an increase of 51.17% year-on-year; sales were 2,034,500, an increase of 46.38% year-on-year. Among them, 1.6212 million passenger cars were produced, an increase of 53.88% year-on-year; sales were 1,725,550, an increase of 48.68% year-on-year. The production of commercial vehicles was 334,300, an increase of 39.58% year-on-year; sales of 30.90 million vehicles were up 34.75% year-on-year.

Dong Yang, executive vice president and secretary-general of the China Automobile Association, said that the main driver of growth was the further release of the consumer market, among which demand for passenger car market growth was even more pronounced. In addition, the working day for this month was also five days longer than the same period last year.
