It was learned that by 2020, the total size of charging piles in the city will reach 4,625, and basically complete a charging infrastructure system that is moderately advanced, with trucks and piles, intelligent and efficient, and effectively meet the charging needs of electric vehicles.
Electric vehicles can afford and can be afforded, but the development of supporting facilities such as charging piles is lagging behind, which has become a major problem that hinders car owners from purchasing electric vehicles. In order to solve this problem, the CPPCC has carried out research and inspections on a number of new energy vehicle-related enterprises and units around the construction of the new energy vehicle capital of Fuyang.
According to the research report, at present, there are only three charging stations in Fuyang, 18 DC charging piles and 30 AC charging piles. The construction of large public parking lots and residential charging facilities has not yet started. The lack or imperfection of charging piles affects the public's willingness to purchase and use electric vehicles.
In this regard, the relevant functional departments indicated that they will gradually improve infrastructure construction and solve the difficulties of promoting and applying new energy vehicles. The Municipal Public Transport Corporation first built 32 charging piles for testing in six bus stop and maintenance yards, and built 10 charging piles in the municipal government parking lot for testing, which accumulated valuable experience for the construction and operation of Shenyang charging piles.
The person in charge of the State Grid Xiangyang Power Supply Company said that this year, four high-speed fast charging stations and 13 city fast charging stations will be completed and put into operation in the city, and 85 DC and AC chargers will be added. At the same time, strive to achieve full coverage of the fast-charging station in the high-speed service area with an average service radius of no more than 2 kilometers in the city in 2017.
According to the Municipal Planning Bureau, by 2020, Fuyang will plan to build 31 new bus replacement stations and 800 electric bus charging stations. In addition, it will build special charging stations for logistics vehicles and charging posts for electric sanitation vehicles. By then, there will be 77 charging stations of various types in Fuyang, and the total size of charging piles will reach 4,625.
