The Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the leaders of the project units and the relevant management departments and the project management personnel responsible for the work of the project participated in the acceptance work.

The National Major Instrument Development Special Project “Development and Industrialization of Spectral-Energy Spectrum Complex X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometer” is led by the Experimental Testing Center. Steel Research Institute Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Jinzi Tianzheng Intelligent Control Co., Ltd., Chinese Academy of Sciences Shanghai Silicate Research Institute, Nanjing Geological Survey Center of China Geological Survey, Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration Institute of China Academy of Geological Sciences, China Building Materials Inspection and Certification Group Co., Ltd., and Iron and Steel Research Institute have undertaken the relevant complete machines. A series of research and development work on structural design, key core components, control and data processing software systems, host operation support systems, and application methods.
After five years of hard work, the project team developed and developed a new X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (CNX-808 XRF) with high power and multi-function (spectrum, energy spectrum and element distribution analysis), which established a practical qualitative, Expert system and application method system for quantitative and elemental distribution analysis, and have corresponding independent intellectual property rights. The project completed the production of 8 engineering prototypes, applied for 23 invention patents, authorized 9 projects, applied for 17 utility models and appearance patents, and authorized 17 projects. Nine work instructions were developed, 8 user application certificates were obtained, 1 open general sample database was established, 16 new technology application methods were completed, and 2 national standards and 1 industry standard were completed. And has been released for implementation. Published 51 core journal articles (6 EI, 2 SCI); completed the first draft of 2 monographs of "History Development of Chinese X-ray Spectroscopy Technology" and "Chinese X-ray Spectral Analysis Literature Index"; The two characteristics of the spectrum/energy spectrum technology are used to shorten the time of regional scanning analysis, and the “two-spectrum combination and three functions” are realized. The evaluation indicators of the whole machine fully meet the requirements specified in the project task book, and In April and October of 2018, respectively, the technical acceptance by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the financial acceptance organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology were passed, which created conditions for the smooth implementation of the overall comprehensive acceptance of the project.
The overall function of the spectrum-energy spectrum composite X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (CNX-808 XRF) developed by the project has reached the current international X-ray fluorescence spectrometer technology level, breaking the long-term monopoly of such instruments and achieving high-end localization. Zero breakthrough, and has the corresponding independent intellectual property rights, laying a solid foundation for the next series of instrument development and meeting the growing demand for inorganic elements analysis and testing in China's economic, social and technological development.
