The disadvantage is that the mechanical strength is the worst in rubber materials and is not resistant to oil. The operating temperature range is -100 to +300 °C. 3, neoprene sealant strip (CR)

Compared with other special rubbers, the individual performance is poor, but the overall performance balance is good. It has excellent weather resistance, ozone resistance, heat aging resistance and oil and solvent resistance, good chemical resistance, excellent flame resistance and good adhesion. The storage stability is poor, hardening occurs during storage, and cold resistance is not good. The relative density is large. Generally black products. Used in environments with oil, heat and acid and alkali resistance requirements. The operating temperature range is -30 to +120 °C.

4, nitrile rubber sealing strip

The main features are oil and solvent resistance, but not resistant to ketones, esters and chlorinated hydrocarbons. The elasticity and mechanical properties are very good. The disadvantage is that it is easy to age and crack in ozone and oxidation, and has poor cold resistance and low temperature resistance.

5, thermoplastic elastomer type sealing strip

It has good elasticity and excellent wear resistance, good oil resistance, wide range of hardness adjustment (Shore A hardness 65-80 degrees), excellent mechanical properties (tensile strength, elongation at break), excellent The cold resistance and chemical resistance of the interwoven corrosion properties, the price of raw materials is higher. It is a material that can be recycled. The operating temperature range is -60 to +80 °C. It is suitable for areas with strong vibrations such as earthquake-prone areas, railways or factories with high-powered cranes, and areas with strong UV radiation.

6, thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) sealant strip

It has the flexibility and elasticity of rubber and can be produced by plastic processing without the need for vulcanization. The waste can be recycled and reused. It is a material with a wide performance range. It has good heat resistance and cold resistance, low relative density, oil resistance and solvent resistance, similar to neoprene, and resistance to compression set and wear resistance. The operating temperature range is -40 to +150 °C. Suitable for cold, medium and high-rise buildings.

7. Plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PPVC) sealing strip

The material is cheap and easy to obtain, has corrosion resistance, wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance and various chemical media, and is resistant to combustion and high mechanical strength. The disadvantage is that the plasticizer in the system is easy to migrate, and becomes hard and brittle with the extension of time. Elastic, not resistant to aging, poor weatherability and low temperature performance. Generally dark products. It is suitable for occasions where the illumination is not strong, the temperature does not change much, and the climatic conditions are not bad.

8, surface coating materials

The surface of the sealing strip is coated with polyurethane, silicone, polytetrafluoroethylene and the like to replace the surface flocking of the conventional process. The coated sealing strip has good wear resistance and smoothness, especially the sealing strip after coating the silicone surface coating, and the surface friction coefficient is small, which is beneficial to the sliding of the door and window sash. Suitable for doors and windows with sliding doors and window sashes. It is a substitute for traditional siliconized tops.

1. Check the seals for large cracks and cracks. If the seal is broken, it can be repaired with an adhesive.
