First, the installation site
A suitable installation site is a prerequisite for proper use of the air compressor system. The installation site should be selected to ensure the maintenance of the air compressor in the future, and avoid the abnormal operation of the air compressor due to the unsatisfactory environment.
1. The installation site requires good lighting and sufficient lighting for operation and maintenance.
2. Relative humidity is low, no corrosion, no metal shavings, less dust, clean air and good ventilation.
3. If the factory environment is poor and there is a lot of dust, a ventilation duct should be installed to guide the air inlet to a relatively clean air. The installation of the conduit must be easy to disassemble for maintenance, and the installation dimensions refer to the external dimensions of the air compressor.
4. Space around the air compressor must be enough to allow other parts to enter and exit. The air compressor is at least 1.5 meters away from the wall; the air compressor is more than 2 meters away from the top space.
5. If the air compressor is installed in a closed air compressor room, an exhaust fan must be installed to allow the heat exchanged gas to escape to the outside.
6. If the ambient temperature is too high (greater than 40 °C), it is recommended to take cooling measures (such as avoiding direct sunlight, opening doors and windows, etc.) to avoid unnecessary high temperature shutdown; if the ambient temperature is low (less than 0 °C), it must be turned on. Prevent the oil from condensing.
Second, piping, foundation and cooling system considerations
Piping
a. Do not subject the aftercooler to additional forces when piping. It is forbidden to drop the welding spark into the air compressor to avoid burning the internal parts of the air compressor.
b. The main pipeline must have a downward slope of 1 ° ~ 2 ° to facilitate the discharge of condensate in the pipeline (the pipeline should have a drain plug, regular discharge).
c. The diameter of the pipeline should be greater than or equal to the diameter of the compressor outlet. Minimize the use of elbows and various types of valves in the pipeline to reduce pressure loss.
Do not shrink or amplify the main pipeline. If it is necessary to reduce or enlarge, use a reducer. Otherwise, turbulence will occur at the joint, resulting in large pressure loss. At the same time, due to the impact pressure of the gas, the life of the pipeline will be greatly increased. shorten.
d. The branch line must be routed from the top of the main line to prevent condensate from the main line from flowing along the line to the machine.
e. It is recommended to install a gas tank after the unit, which can reduce the number of air compressor loading, unloading and replacement, and extend the life of the body and electrical.
f. If there is a gas storage tank, a dryer and other purification buffer facilities after the air compressor, the ideal piping should be air compressor + air tank + dryer. The gas storage tank can reduce the temperature of the exhaust gas, remove most of the moisture, and the air with lower temperature and less water can enter the dryer, which can reduce the load of the dryer.
g. Compressed air below 1.5 MPa, the flow rate must be below 15 m / s to avoid excessive pressure drop in the pipeline.
h. The ideal piping is that the main line surrounds the entire building and the appropriate valves are placed on the annular main line. In this way, compressed air in both directions can be obtained in a straight line at any position of the plant. If a certain amount of air is suddenly increased, it will not cause a significant pressure drop. In addition, the valve can be used to cut off the pipeline.
2. Foundation
a. The foundation should be built on hard soil or concrete floor, and the plane should be flat to avoid additional vibration caused by tilting.
b. If the air compressor is loaded upstairs, it must be anti-vibration treatment (such as a layer of 10mm thick rubber) to prevent vibration transmission and resonance.
3. Cooling system
a. The water-cooled unit needs to build a cooling tower to remove the heat from the cooler through the cooling water.
(1). It is best to use soft water for the cooling water to avoid the reaction of calcium and magnesium ions in the water due to high temperature, and form scale in the cooler, which affects the heat transfer effect of the cooler. If the cooling tower circulation system is used, the water should be periodically added with softener. To maintain the cleanliness of the water.
(2). The automatic replenishment system of the cooling water circulation system needs to be perfected. Otherwise, after running for several hours, the insufficient cooling water will cause the air compressor to stop due to high temperature.
(3). The cooling system of the air compressor is preferably used alone to avoid sharing with other systems to prevent the amount of water from affecting the cooling effect.
(4). The cooling tower must comply with the amount of cooling water specified by the air compressor. At the same time, the power of the pump should be correctly selected. The cooling tower should be placed in a place where heat dissipation is easy, ventilation is good, and it must be supported and fixed to prevent dumping.
(5). The water pressure of the cooling water must generally be maintained between 0.25 and 0.40 MPa, and the maximum temperature should not exceed 0.5 MPa.
(6). The cooling water outlet temperature should be kept below 40 °C.
The air-cooled unit uses air convection through the fan, so that the cold air takes away the heat of the cooler and controls the temperature of the unit.
