Yangzi Petrochemical olefin plant has a total of 4 sets of circulating water devices and sewage treatment devices, which are responsible for the water and drainage tasks of multiple sets of chemical devices such as ethylene, ethylene glycol and butadiene. In order to improve the environmental protection indicators of the circulating water, after the overhaul of the equipment in September last year, the circulating water plant of the olefin plant implemented a new water treatment technology with a low-phosphorus formulation, which effectively reduced the phosphorus content in the water and met the national environmental protection requirements.

The workshop further explored the operating points of the low-phosphorus formula, reasonably controlled the concentration of circulating water, and reduced the heat exchanger fouling and corrosion. The workshop will improve and optimize the use frequency and concentration of various types of fungicides according to changes in seasons and temperatures, effectively reducing the growth of microorganisms and preventing the impact on water quality. During the operation, the workshop strict water quality management assessment, focus on the control of organic phosphorus, turbidity, concentration and other indicators, focus on the monitoring of circulating water sludge content; strengthen the water quality monitoring device optimization and maintenance work, timely basis The situation of water quality and heterotrophic bacteria will adjust the dosage of fungicides; strict management of process operations will be carried out to standardize the operation procedures for different stages of water quality and avoid excessive water quality caused by operational factors.

For waste water, the workshop strengthened the operation management and assessment of the sewage plant. Meticulously control the level of oil-containing water tanks and oily water tanks, eliminate the high concentration of scum and slick oil into sewage facilities; strengthen the optimization of pharmaceutical adjustments, increase the frequency of inspections, identify abnormal conditions of water quality, and take effective countermeasures.
