The joint venture can complement and complement Marelli Automotive Lighting's business in China and support the coverage of the area north of the Yellow River, which is a strategic location for the Chinese automotive industry, a leading Chinese domestic auto company and an international presence in China. Car manufacturers have established their own factories in this area.

The German OEM's business in China is particularly intensive in this region.

The business scope of the joint venture will be to produce automotive lighting systems (headlights and taillights) based on halogen, xenon and high-end LED technologies. Its subsidiary factory will be established in the first quarter of 2016 and is expected to start production in the first quarter of 2017.

It has an 'ideal' business map and supports strategically important areas."
