In the first half of 2012, the growth rate of production and sales of the machine tool industry in China declined significantly

From January to June this year, the production and sales of China's machine tool industry continued to grow, but the growth rate fell sharply compared with the previous year. According to statistics released by the China Federation of Machinery Industry, from January to June, the machine tool industry completed industrial output value of 365.45 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase (below) of 12.43%, and the growth rate fell by 23.97 percentage points from the previous year; completed sales value of 3563.35 Billion yuan, an increase of 12.72%, fell 23.68 percentage points.

Since the beginning of this year, due to the global macroeconomic environment, both domestic and international demand have shown weakness. In particular, the upstream industry has been affected by macro-control policies. The growth rate of investment in newly-built projects in some industries has declined, and the demand for the machine tool industry has continued to slump.
