On the first day of the Shanghai bauma exhibition, Cummins and Xiangdang Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of large-scale mining electric wheel dump trucks in China (“Xiangdian Reload”), signed a strategic cooperation agreement to further strengthen cooperation. Cummins will continue to be the exclusive engine supplier for Xiangdian to reinstall the domestic market and provide support for Xiangdian’s heavy-duty large-scale and super-large electric wheel dump trucks. In the international export market, Xiangdian reload will give priority to Cummins engines. Mr. Wang Hongjie, Vice Chairman of Cummins (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and general manager of engine business and customer service support in China, and Mr. Wang Shaotan, general manager of Xiangdian Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement. According to the agreement, the two parties will also conduct joint research and development of new products and strengthen cooperation in the introduction of new products and after-sales service system construction.

The cooperation between Cummins and Xiangdian Group began in the 1980s. The Cummins K series high-horsepower engines are supporting 108 tons, 154 tons, 220 tons and 300 tons of electric wheel dump trucks. They have been successfully applied to large-scale mines such as Huolinhe, Yimin, Zhungeer, Baiyun and Datang.
